Kaylynn enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and friends, as well as RV camping, baking, gardening, and DIY projects.
Casey has been with our team since 2015 as she’s finished her education. She has a bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Radford University and a Master of Music Theory from Ball State University. She is CPR certified and is currently working on her ASHA certification. Before returning to New River Valley Hearing, she taught in a k-12 setting as a band teacher. Casey’s mom is an audiologist. Originally, she worked at the front desk in the summers while she was a student and every year, she’d learn more about the hearing industry. She enjoys learning about hearing technology and helping patients hear the world around them.
Casey loves being outside, whether that’s walking her dog in the park, going on trails, or hiking in the mountains. She also enjoys gardening vegetables as well as growing tropical house plants. She loves music and plays the saxophone or bagpipes anytime she gets the chance.
Sharra is our knowledgeable Office Assistant. She has over 25 years of experience in customer service/retail and over 8 years of experience as a Companion/Aid. She has completed Business courses at Radford and CNA classes in Raleigh, NC. She transitioned into the field of audiology because she wanted to learn more about how hearing loss can impact your daily life. Sharra is a hearing aid wearer herself, so she can understand the impact hearing loss has had on her own life. She loves learning about the innovativeness of the hearing industry.
Sharra loves being around nature and her garden. She also enjoys sewing, reading, and working on home projects.
